Bodies of Water
Bodies of Water is Suzannes newest personal project.
Basics.
Similar to my Nude Neutrality Project, it will be a series of underwater nude portraits.
No person/skin retouching outside of colour correction.
Black and white but mix of colour as well.
Single, Partnered (2+people) or Couples welcome.
Edited images available for purchase.
Images may be submitted to magazines or competitions.
Like the Nude Neutrality Project, the goal is to highlight beauty in our bodies - not just in "flattering" poses. This will be captured via shape and movement. I will have pose guides available to reference while in the water.
Nude or partial nudity welcome (skin coloured underwear fine)
No underwater modeling experience necessary, but being able to swim is preferred for this project.
Setting:
Sessions will be in the "shallow" end, maybe 1.2m deep.
Black backdrop.
Breath holds and Buoyancy
Underwater modelling takes practice and for many people this may be the 1st time trying underwater photography, I don't expect long breath holds and many people find the 1st time they have a hard time with buoyancy control. The most important thing is the ability to stay calm, and go slow.
Things to consider buying:
Eyedrops and sinus savers
Tilting your head back in the water can be uncomfortable for some people, I am more than happy for people to wear sinus savers if it makes the experience more comfortable.
